Accommodation

Accommodation of incommings at 2nd faculty is usually in the students dormitory "Kajetánka", 15 minutes by bus from Motol Hospital, 30 minutes from the airport Ruzyně and about 20 minutes from the Prague centre.

Dormitory includes double-bed rooms with own small kitchen (with fridge and electric cooker) and bathroom for two rooms (it means for 4 students together). Rooms are equipped with beds, tables, wardrobes and shelves. Bed-clothes are provided on the reception. There is internet access, the eventually connection of your laptop discuss with your tutor. At hospital/school, there are places with free internet. Students can also use washing machine in the building.

Boarding

Boarding at hospital: there is a restaurant for employees and students (cca 60 CZK per meal). Except that, you can find many shops in the Central Hall of the hospital (20C ZK per 0,5 drink, 20-50 CZK per baguette), caffetteria (25 CZK per caffee, 100 CZK a meal), coffee machine (12 CZK/drink).

Cooking in the dormitory: easy and cheap. You can find a supermarket near the dormitory. Prices: bread 20 CZK, butter 18 CZK, apples (1kg) 30C ZK, chicken breast (1kg) 140 CZK, ham (100g) 16 CZK, cheese (100g) 16 CZK, juice (1l) 25 CZK, pasta (500g) 15 CZK.

There are many restaurants near Kajetanka. Prices: cold drink 30 CZK, beer 25 CZK, meal 150 CZK, soup 40 CZK, dessert 50 CZK, coffee 40 CZK. Chinese restaurants are cheaper (80 CZK/meal), as well as pizzeria (140 CZK/pizza 37cm, usually for 2 people). Nevertheless, prices in Prague depend strongly on localisation of restaurant/pub. Prices in the centre could be much higher.
