After linking the Military Hospital to the University Hospital in Pilsen, it became the biggest medical establishment in the Czech republic.

The University Hospital in Pilsen is able to provide its patients with complex health care on the world level thanks to its up-to-date diagnostic, treatment and rehabilitation background. The hospital is equipped by the state-of-the-art technique and number of knowledgeable experts from the individual medical branches work for the hospital.

The University Hospital in Pilsen consists of three independent premises:

The University Hospital in Pilsen - Bory

- the original hospital premises of pavilion type
- rendering of basic surgery and internal health care as well as some types of specialised medical care (departments of infectious diseases, lung and skin diseases, otorhinolaryngology, urology, etc.)



The University Hospital in Pilsen - Lochotin
- modern premises in a distance about 7 km from the University Hospital in Pilsen -Bory
- rendering of specialised and highly specialised medical care (Traumatological centre, Cardiological centre, Centre for bone marrow transplantations, Transplantation organ centre, etc.)
- newly built Gynaecological and Maternity clinic and Neonathological department



Fodermayer Pavilion
-independent pavilion separated from both previous big premises that is used as a seat of
Radio-therapeutic and Oncological departments.



The University Hospital in Lochotin is just next to the Faculty dormitories and therefore it takes just about 10 minutes to get there by walking.
