Panorama Prahy
Prague is the capital of the Czech Republic. Having 1.2 bilion citizens, it is also the largest city. It is situated in the cetre of Bohemia on the river Vltava, which runs through Prague in the length of 31km and in its widest point has 330m. The capital is the most important municipal historic landmark. Since 1992 is the historic core in the area of 866 ha on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Metro
The network of Prague metro consists of 3 lines marked by letters and distinguished by colors. Line A ? green (Depo Hostivař ? Dejvická), line B ? yellow (Černý Most ? Zličín) and line C ? red (Ládví ? Háje). It is possible to change lines in these stations: Muzeum (lines A a C), Můstek (lines A a B) and Florenc (lines B a C). The metro runs every day from 5am till midnight. Time interval is in the rush hour about 2-3 mins, past rush hour 4-10 mins.

Trams
Day lines run from 4.30am till midnight; nighttime is operated between midnight and 4.30am by lines No. 51 - 59 in the interval of 30 mins. Central changing station for night lines is Lazarská station.
Buses
Day lines run from 4.30am till 00.30am; nighttime is operated between 00.30am and 4.30am by lines No. 501 ? 514 and 601 - 604.
Cable car
Cable car to hill Petřín goes on the line Újezd - Nebozízek - Petřín. It runs daily from 9.00am to 11.30pm (April - October) and from 9.00am to 11.20pm (November - March) and goes in the interval of 10 and 15 mins respectively.
